Anna’s bold and quirky prints are made using traditional lino block printing techniques which she then adapts with digital design methods to create her striking designs.
The Highlander Collection is inspired by Scotland’s iconic Highland cows, a breed that is native to Scotland and loved by locals and visitors alike. In true Anna Malyon style, the design features strong lines, a contemporary edge and a slightly muted colour palette.
In the Highlander print, Anna has paired the cows back to just their essential characteristics, the designs reflect their broad bulky shape, their shaggy hair and the prominent horns that we all recognise in our Highland friends.
