Vase - Coll and beyond
A well proportioned vase to display long stemmed blooms to perfection. The design is inspired by the view from Coll over to the mainland, with the subtle turquoise and green sea, and the golden sands.
The shape is wide at the base coming into a narrow waist and opening out again, allowing the display to be bold, while gently supporting the flowerheads.
The vase was dipped in the creamy white glaze and the greens and blues were hand painted, once in the kiln, the colours fuse and blend to create a unique landscape.
