Bothy with Moon & Trees 3D ink drawing
This one off original framed artwork is part of an ongoing series of 3D Bothy ink drawings.
A combination of line work and stippling is used to create the image of the Bothy on a hill, which is then very carefully cut out with a fine scalpel knife and mounted onto the background layer of the sky using acid free conservation tape and mount board to create the raised effect.
Olivia loves creating diversity within this series by illustrating each drawn scene with different elements, such as trees, shooting stars and paths leading up the hill, so that even although similar, no two artworks within the series are the same.
