Circular Mosaic Stepping Stone with Brown Bird and Flowers
This circular stepping stone in mosaic features a small bird made from bone china plate which had a decorative horse and cart on it, with a background of flowers in a non-slip porcelain tile.
This paving slab is robust enough to be set into a pathway or lawn, but it could be propped in a corner of a garden to give added interest.

Artisan Process
Working with views over the river Earn and hills beyond, Katy is frequently inspired by this landscape, which is reflected in her mosaics. Flowers in abundance feature in much of her works.
Recycled materials inspire and stimulate many of her ideas, including broken china, where she knows the provenance of each tile, creating a traditional patchwork concept.
