Handwoven Log Cabin Design Wool Cushion
Handwoven British wool cushion with traditional log cabin design.
Made from a small batch of handwoven fabric, 100% reclaimed British wool has been used to create a striking cushion with an envelope backing in dark red corduroy.
The design uses two colours in both the warp and weft and pattern direction changes to create an optical illusion of an under over pattern similar to basket weave or traditional wooden log cabin construction. Filled with a hollow fibre cushion insert with cotton cover.

Artisan Process
Carrie creates handwoven textiles, fabric lengths, and accessories using British wool and natural fibres. Sustainability is central to her practice, and she works exclusively with dead stock wool and vintage yarns.
