Walnut Vase
This vase showcases the wonderful chocolate brown colours of locally sourced Scottish Walnut. It features a live edge and a inlaid band across the middle. The inlay is composed of over 50 individual pieces of wood, highlighted by a hint of blue between them and bound in place with a line of copper.

Artisan Process
Chris combines traditional and modern techniques, working primarily with locally sourced wood, often windfallen when available. He uses carving and painting to add texture and colour, sometimes guided by the wood’s natural features, other times by a defined design or purpose.
