Heather Pod
Landscape Pods are part of a series of work which Georgia has developed as she explores methods in paper making.
They are composed of foraged materials which she collect on her travels in Scotland. This, a larger pod, is made using heather collected from the slopes of Ben Lawers in Highland Perthshire which happens to be close to Georgia's workshop.
The heather flowers have been incorporated into cotton papers and formed into a shape into which a ball of heather stems can be nestled. Ridges and layers which remind Georgia of the rocks on the slopes are filled with the flowers. Then the whole piece is treated to protect it from UV and to give the paper extra rigidity.
The pod comes supplied with a protective box which can also be used for display.

Size - 140 x 140 x 140 mm
This product is made of natural materials and is best stored or displayed out of direct sunlight. For the same reason you may notice slow changes to the work.
The price includes UK P&P.
