Artisan Process
Marching Band was originally created for a Children’s Art festival that Jon was involved in. In this illustration, Jon wanted to convey the lively feeling of a carnival and had fun creating a mixture of child and animal characters. An Elephant, Zebra, Crocodile and Rhino join the children to form a marching band.
In this piece, Jon used a mixture of crayons and watercolours to add colour, shadows and details to his original line drawings.
Jon hopes that his art can spark the imaginations of those that view his work and aid parents in their bedtime storytelling.
