Shattering/Binding
'Shattering/Binding' is a one off mounted and framed original monoprinted poem exploring the feeling of becoming undone, how to cope with this and attempting to puzzle yourself back together again.
The poem has been printed on a rice paper doily, a physical aspect of a domestic life to place you in to the position of the writer.
The work is a snippet of a moment in a person's story, showing the catastrophic thought patterns, and the journey to trying to right these thoughts.
Original monoprint on a rice paper doily, mounted and framed in a smooth, natural wood. The poem is by the artist.
