Winter Showcase at Birnam Arts

We're back at Birnam Arts with our second Winter Showcase featuring a selection of work from the Perthshire Artisans, and it is looking amazing! Such a wide variety of work to enjoy, browse and buy!

Birnam Arts is a fabulous creative arts venue near Dunkeld, and the upstairs gallery space (lift access available) beautifully showcases the work, which as well as many original pieces includes framed prints and a wide selection of mounted prints, which are a lovely gift to post or pop in a suitcase. This year the exhibition extends and continues downstairs in the Birnam Shop with beautiful jewellery, ceramics, prints and glass pieces.

If you're in the area, live nearish or passing by on a longer journey, Birnam Arts is a great place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat. Take a moment to enjoy the exhibition and maybe support local creative businesses and finding a seasonal gift or three, or maybe something different that you just want to enjoy yourself.

We've enjoyed working closely with Birnam Arts for this year’s Winter Exhibition, and love that we're able to provide this exciting opportunity for the Artisans to share their work with a wider local audience, while offering shoppers the chance to discover unique gifts and celebrate the area’s creativity. Helen Reid who is the Birnam Arts Visual Arts & Development Manager, says:

The exhibition offers a vibrant showcase of the diverse design and artistry of Perthshire Artisan members, while giving visitors the opportunity to purchase unique works and directly invest in the region’s thriving creative economy.”

Selection of work available at the Winter Exhibition

As part of the Perthshire Artisans Winter Exhibition, Sheila Roberts, a printmaker based in Comrie, will host a creative workshop, Printmaking with a Pasta Maker, on Saturday 7 February 2026, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Bookings can be made via the Birnam Arts website. We're working with other Artisans who are planning to also host a demonstration of their work as part of the Winter Exhibiton, and we'll share more details over the coming weeks.
