Pinstripe Pedestal Pot

A lovely wheel-thrown earthenware pedestal pot – great for use as a striking plant holder, nut bowl, or just as a stand alone piece. Inspired by post-war homewares Ceri was fascinated by in her grandparents’ houses when a child. This pot has been thrown in two pieces and joined while wet, decorated using a freehand sgraffito technique, fired and finished with a second firing of transparent and coloured glazes.
