Segmented Walnut Pot
A small wooden pot made from locally sourced Walnut, Oak and recycled Mahogany.
Some natural cracks appeared while drying the wood, which presented an opportunity to add bright blue and purple to the piece. The central ring consists of over 50 individual pieces separated with a hint of blue.
Perfect for displaying dried flowers or as a stand alone piece. Not suitable for use with fresh flowers.

Artisan Process
Chris combines traditional and modern techniques, working primarily with locally sourced wood, often windfallen when available. He uses carving and painting to add texture and colour, sometimes guided by the wood’s natural features, other times by a defined design or purpose.
